Resource Room

Our Resource Room is stocked with all kinds of equipment designed to make the daily life of visually impaired people as easy as possible.

From talking clocks and watches to talking bathroom scales! Liquid level indicators to talking microwaves, large print diaries to large print playing cards. In fact if we don’t have it we will endeavour to find it for you.

We have a large stock of audio books which we lend out at no charge and a growing library of audio described videos (there is a small charge for this service). We have recent films such as Bridget Jones’s Diary and classics like Singing in the Rain as well as children’s favourites, Monsters Inc and Chicken Run.

We regularly host ‘Open Days’ where specialist companies come to display and demonstrate new technology for you (and us!).
