How we can help you

Transport has always been a problem for Visually Impaired people, but the Society will provide this where possible and with that in mind, five years ago we purchased a minibus which meant we were able to increase our activities within the town - we are now managing to reach more VIP than ever before. An average week of activities looks something like this:

There are also theatre trips, mystery tours, summer outings and an annual Christmas Lunch.

Of course many of these activities are reliant on our amazing team of volunteers – we couldn’t do it without them!

The offices and resource room at headquarters are staffed five mornings a week we are here to answer any telephone enquires or to assist any callers in anyway we can - if we can’t help we’ll find someone who can!
