Donations and Legacies

Worthing Society for the Blind is a registered charity funded entirely by donations and legacies.

We have been very fortunate over the years with bequests, but as our only means of continuing to help the visually impaired people of our town, we are always grateful for any donations we receive.

Legacies contribute substantially to the amount Worthing Society for the Blind need each year to fund the many free services provided for its members.

Please remember us in your will so that we can continue to help other visually impaired people.

Donations can be given with requests for the money to be spent in a particular way, i.e., on specific items such as more audio described videos for our library, to benefit a chosen club/group or for general use at the Society’s discretion.

We have recently started handing out coin collection boxes which our members take home and gradually fill with their loose change, when the boxes are full they simply return them, take an empty one and start all over again!
